Can answers in a questionnaire be limited or formatted (e.g., phone number, postal code)?

Question

Is it is possible to enforce a specific format for certain answers in a questionnaire, such as:

  • Limiting the number of characters for a phone number
    ​

  • Forcing a postal code format
    ​

  • Applying an input mask (e.g., digits only, or a pattern like A1A 1A1)
    ​

Answer

This is not possible in InputKit. Currently, the response fields in questionnaires do not allow automatic formatting or restrictions on data entry (e.g., phone number, postal code, date).

Respondents can therefore enter this information freely, without any technical constraints enforced by the questionnaire.
