It is possible to send your customer satisfaction surveys by SMS! Sending by SMS has a considerable impact on the response rate. Indeed, people receive a lot of emails compared to SMS and this method of sending can help improve your response rate.

How does it work ?

Automated sendings

If your sendings are automated with an integration and the customer's cell phone number is registered in the appropriate field, it is possible to send the questionnaire by SMS. This will be done automatically, depending on your sending strategy.

ℹ️ If a client does not have an email address on file, but does have a cell phone number, it will be sent via SMS.

Manual sendings

If you are sending manually, you must select the SMS sending mode.

For a unique sending, you have to manually enter the customer's cell phone number in InputKit. For a mass sending, your CSV file must contain a column for the cell phone numbers of your customers.

Here is how to select the SMS sending mode:

When doing a singular sending :

  1. Click on "Sendings" in the left-hand menu.

  2. Click on the "+ Send a sequence" button

  3. A window will open to allow you to choose the sending method. This is also where you must enter the customer's contact information and the information related to the sending.

    1. The email sending mode is activated by default. You must click on "SMS" to activate this mode and then on "Email" to deactivate this mode.

    2. Enter the customer contact information as well as the information related to the sending.

    3. Click on "Send" to do your sending by SMS.

When doing a massive sending :

  1. Click on " Sendings " in the left menu.

  2. Click on the "Send many" button

  3. Click on "SMS" to choose this sending mode.


  4. Choose the upload mode to make your mass sending.

How to activate the SMS sending ?
