💡 A sending strategy allows you to prioritize one sending mode (email or SMS) when you have both sending modes being used in your account.

Table of contents :

There are 3 sending strategies :

  1. Prioritize email (if the customer does not have an email address, he will receive the questionnaire by SMS)

  2. Prioritize SMS (if the customer does not have a cell phone number, he will receive the questionnaire by email)

  3. Both modes

⚠️ We don't recommend using both modes at the same time otherwise it can be aggressive for people receiving the questionnaires to receive them 2 ways at the same time.

1- How to define a sending strategy?

To define a sending strategy, you have to go to the company settings. To get there, click on your name at the top right and then on "Settings" :

Click on the "Company" tab:

Scroll down to the bottom of the settings until you see the "Sending strategy" section:

Select the strategy from the drop-down menu to define it:

2- How to use the sending strategy?

Automated sending: if sending is done automatically, you only have to define the strategy and the automation takes care of the rest!

Manual sending: If you are sending manually, you can choose to send according to your sending strategy when doing a multiple sending.

Here's how:

  1. Define the sending strategy in your company settings.

  2. When sending, select "Strategy" as the sending mode:

This way, you can use a single CSV file even if you have multiple contact information per customer.

For example, if the sending strategy is to prioritize emails and a customer has an email address and cell phone number in your CSV file, they will receive the questionnaire via email because of your sending strategy.
