If there has been a change in your staff and the person who used to sign the sendings no longer works for your company, it is important to change the name of the sender in your sequences and to deactivate the employee on InputKit. Find out how to do this in this guide!

What is the sender's name? How to access it?

The sender's name is what signs the sending. It is the name that your clients or patients see when they receive the questionnaire. The field to change it is in the sequences.

To change the sender name, click on "Sequences" in the left menu and click on a sequence to make changes.

💡If you have multiple versions and the change only applies to one version, select it from the drop-down menu:

If you only have one location or the sender's name is the same, regardless of the location, you can stay on the "By default" version.

The field for the sender's name is found in the "Email" and "SMS" steps of a sequence, if you have both sending modes.

⚠️If you have both sending methods, don't forget to make the change for email as well as SMS.

How to change the sender name for emails?

1. Once in the sequence, click on the "Email" step.

A little further down on the left, there is the section "Modify email step". It is from this section that you can change the name of the sender:

2. To change the name, you must replace the name that is entered with the desired one.

The change is saved in real time:

⚠️ If your account is bilingual, don't forget to change the French version. It is located below the English version.

If the change applies to all sequences, you can click on this button to propagate the change:

💡When you change the sender name of a version, there is a button to apply the change in all sequences only for that version.

How to change the sender name for SMS?

1. Once in the sequence, click on the "SMS" step.

A little further down on the left, there is the section "Modify SMS step". It is from this section that you can change the name of the sender:

The promoters boost

If you are using the promoters boost and the person who was signing the sendings has left the company, the signature in the promoters boost email must also be changed. The sender's name will be modified with the changes explained above, but the signature must be modified manually.

1. To access the promoters boost, click on "Sequences" in the left-hand menu and then on the "Promoters boost" sequence.

2. Once in the sequence, select the version to modify if necessary. If you have no versions or all versions have the same sender name and signature for this sequence, you can stay on the "By default" version.

3. Then click on the "Email" step to make changes.

4. Scroll down to the "Email content" section.

5. If you are working on a version, click on "Modify this version" to make changes to the content.

6. Change the signature for the new one in the "Email content" field. The changes are saved in real time.

How to deactivate an employee while keeping the data?

1. Click on your name at the top right and then on "Employees".

2. Click on the pencil icon on the right to modify the employee's profile. A window will open to allow you to modify the profile, you must then uncheck the "Active" box.

3. Click "Save" to save the change.

The employee will be in the list of deactivated employees.

This will result in the employee no longer being visible in reports, you will no longer be able to share feedback with that employee, but the data related to that employee will remain in your account.

How to delete the user?

1. Click on your name at the top right and then on "Users".

2. If you have many users in your account, you can do a search with the name to find the user quickly.

3. To delete a user, click on the trash can icon on the right and confirm the deletion.
