How to automate the sending of a sequence

You now have the possibility to automate the sending of a sequence based on some specific triggers.

First, you have to select the sequence you want to automate. When you are in the sequence in question, you must click on the automation button at the top right.

Now you have to define several things: trigger, questionnaire, delay and conditions.

Trigger

The word represents what it is. The trigger is what triggers the sequence to be sent to the client. For now, we have only one trigger (completed questionnaire), but we will add more in the future based on our customers' requests. So please feel free to let us know.

Questionnaires

Since the trigger is a completed questionnaire, you need to choose which questionnaires will trigger the automation. You can select multiple questionnaires.

Delay

You have to choose a delay between the trigger (completed questionnaire) and the moment when the chosen sequence will be sent. The delay is only available in hours. From experience, a delay of 2 hours works very well.

Conditions

You must choose conditions for the chosen sequence to be sent. These conditions will be evaluated AFTER the delay. So if there is a change in the meantime, it will be taken into consideration before the sequence is sent.

For now, there are 2 conditions available: the customer is a Promoter and the customer has never left a Google review.

Just like the trigger, we will be adding new conditions in the future based on our customers' requests. So please feel free to let us know.

Let's take an example

You want to automate the "Ambassador Relay" sequence. Here are the steps to follow:

1. Click on the "Ambassador follow-up" sequence

2. Click on the automation button in the upper right corner

3. Set "completed questionnaire" as the trigger

4. Select "follow-up after installation" and "follow-up after service call" in the questionnaires

5. Define a time frame, 2 hours in my example

6. Set "Customer is a Promoter" and "Customer never left a Google review" as conditions so that my "Ambassador follow-up" sequence will only be sent to promoters who never left a Google review on my company page.

To summarize, the "Ambassador Relay" sequence will be sent :

- 2 hours after a customer has completed either the "follow up after installation" or "follow up after service call" questionnaire.

- If the 2 conditions are met, i.e. "Customer is a Promoter" and "Customer has never left a Google review".
