How to access the SMS step?
To access the SMS step, click on "Sequences" in the left menu and click on a sequence to make changes:
ℹ️ If you have multiple offices, you need to choose the version you want to make changes to in the list if you need to change the values for a particular location:
In the sequence, click on the "SMS" step on the left:
Here is what the entire SMS step looks like:
Phone number
The phone number for the sendings has been selected when we were setting up your account or when you ask us to activate the sendings by SMS.
⚠️If you don't have one, please write to us in the chat so we can activate SMS sending for your account.
How to make changes in the SMS step?
Here are the elements that can be modified in the SMS step:
Sender's name
SMS content
Call to action
How to modify the sender's name ?
To change the sender's name, find the "Sender's name" field in the "Modify SMS step" section:
This is where you can change the name of the sender. Simply enter the desired value to make the change:
💡Advice: It is highly recommended to put a human name for the sender's name and we also recommend specifying which company the SMS is from (example: Philippe from Demonstration).
This way, it reassures the customer that the SMS is safe.
How to spread the value of the sender's name to all sequences?
If the sender name should be the same for all sequences and locations in your account, you can spread the value with this button:
How to modify the content of the SMS ?
The content of the SMS is under the sender's name. To make changes, you just have to modify the text in the field "SMS content" and the changes are saved in real time:
The custom fields
You can use the custom fields to modify the content of your SMS. For example, if you want to add the name of the employee who was present at the appointment, you can click on the "Employees" button at the desired location in the text:
The code to automatically add the employee's name will be added in the content of the SMS:
If the employee's first name on the context is "Arthur", it will say "I want to make sure your last hygiene appointment with Arthur lived up to your expectations [...]" in the SMS the patient receives.
⚠️It is very important to always keep the %link% code at the end of the SMS. This is the link to complete the questionnaire.
If you have deleted it and want to put it back, you can do so by clicking on the "Link" button in the custom fields:
If the link is added next to the text as in my example, you need to move it a little lower to make the link more obvious.

How to modify the call to action?
The call to action will appear this way in the SMS:
The field to modify the call to action is located under the field to modify the content of the SMS:
To change the call to action, simply change the value in the "Call to action" field:
Changes are saved automatically.
💡The link after the call to action allows the customer to continue to the other steps such as the questionnaire.
