Medesync

This article explains how to create a custom report in Medesync to export a list of appointments that you can then import into InputKit.

To export an appointment file from Medesync, you must create a custom report that includes the information required for your sends in InputKit.

Step 1: Create a custom report

Access custom reports

  1. Go to the “Management” tab.

  2. Under the organization settings menu, click “Custom Reports”.

  3. Click “Add” to configure a new report.

Configure the report

Set the following:

  • Report type: select “Appointments”

  • Description: enter “InputKit Appointments”

Under “Available Fields”, add these fields:

  • Patient – First name

  • Patient – Last name

  • Patient – Email

  • Patient – Phone number

  • Patient – Language

  • Appointment – Date

  • Appointment – Professional name

  • Appointment – Location

Add filters

Under “Filter data based on criteria”, click the green “+” icon to create a filter.

Confirmed appointment filter

This filter ensures the report excludes cancelled appointments.

  • Field: Appointment – Confirmation

  • Operation: Contains

  • Value: confirmed

  • Click “OK”.

Appointment date filters

These filters allow you to choose the appointment dates included in the report.

Start date:

  • Field: Appointment – Date

  • Operation: Greater than

  • Value: Select a date

  • Attention: Enable “Ask at print” so you can choose the date for each export.

  • Click “OK”.

End date:

  • Field: Appointment – Date

  • Operation: Less than

  • Value: Select a date

  • Attention: Enable “Ask at print” so you can choose the date for each export.

  • Click “OK”.

Click “Save” to save the report.

Step 2: View and download your InputKit appointments report

  1. In the “Print” tab, go to the “Custom Reports” section and click “InputKit Appointments”.

  2. Select the desired date range for the report and click “OK”.

  3. Click “Download” to download the file to your computer.
